Armen Round Neck Jumper - Green Sacramento
Description
The Green Sacramento Armen crew-neck sweater is made in our workshop in France using Geelongora yarn, developed by the British spinning mill Z. Hinchliffe & Sons. Composed of 75% Super Geelong lambswool and 25% angora, it creates a lightweight, voluminous, and exceptionally soft knit that can be worn directly against the skin.
Knitted on a full-circle machine at gauge 8, the sweater is entirely seamless. Only the collar is sewn by hand during assembly. This construction creates a smooth, rounded drape with no visible seams between the shoulders, sleeves, back, and front, resulting in a clean silhouette and highly precise finishes.
The washing, fulling, and knitting adjustments required numerous trials to achieve the desired texture, volume, and softness. This process also ensures the shape retention and durability that are the hallmarks of the Armen model.
The Green Sacramento color features a deep shade that highlights the Geelongora’s natural, light downy texture and the richness of this knit. A crew-neck sweater made in France, in our workshop, where our expertise has been passed down through three generations of knitters.
