Armen Round Neck Jumper - Pink Plum
Description
The pink plum Armen crew-neck sweater is made in our workshop in France from yarn developed by a British spinning mill. Composed of 75% Super Geelong lambswool and 25% angora, it features a lightweight, warm, and exceptionally soft knit that can be worn directly against the skin.
Knitted seamlessly on a circular knitting machine at gauge 8, the garment is made in one piece. Only the collar is sewn by hand during assembly. This technique creates a fluid silhouette with no visible seams between the shoulders, sleeves, back, and front, as well as highly precise finishes.
Numerous rounds of knitting, washing, and fulling were required to achieve the desired texture, volume, and softness. This process combines the lightness of the yarn with excellent structure, resulting in a sweater that is as comfortable to wear as it is durable.
The pink plum color—a deep antique pink with plum undertones—showcases the full richness of the yarn and its light, natural downy texture. A crew-neck sweater made in France in the same workshop since 1972, where the craftsmanship has been passed down through three generations of knitters.
