Armen Round Neck Jumper - Bondi Blue
Description
The Armen Bondi Blue crew-neck sweater is made in our workshop in France using Geelongora yarn, developed by the British spinning mill Z. Hinchliffe & Sons. Composed of 75% Super Geelong lambswool and 25% angora, this yarn creates a lightweight, warm, and exceptionally soft knit that can be worn directly against the skin.
The garment is knitted entirely without seams on a circular knitting machine at gauge 8. Only the collar is sewn by hand during assembly. This technique eliminates any visible seams between the shoulders, sleeves, back, and front, resulting in a smooth, rounded drape and exceptionally neat finishes.
The knitting, washing, and fulling settings required numerous trials before achieving the desired texture, volume, and softness. This process also helps preserve the structure and durability that characterize the Armen model.
The Bondi Blue color features a deep, luminous shade that highlights the Geelongora’s light downy texture and the richness of the knit. A crew-neck sweater made in France, in our workshop, where our craftsmanship has been passed down through three generations of knitters.
