Ohannes Round Neck - Brown

With the Ohannes jumper, we begin to tackle interesting topics.
It is a combination of culture and history with contemporary fashion. We recognise the cables of Irish sailors from a bygone era combined with a very modern loose fit. The combination of these ‘historic’ cables with the very casual style of the fit gives it its unique look. To create this very voluminous jumper, we had to find a thick, very airy yarn to give it volume without feeling like you were wearing a knitted rib on your shoulders. So we went to a fellow spinner in the south of France (one of the last remaining) to find a carded, entirely recycled yarn. It is composed of 70% recycled wool for warmth, 25% recycled polyamide to strengthen the recycled wool fibres, and 5% other fibres, because when you make recycled yarn, there may be other tiny materials mixed in, and for the sake of clarity, we use the term ‘other fibres’ for the remaining 5%.
