Armen Polo - Green Thicket
Description
The green Thicket Armen polo shirt is the result of numerous knitting, washing, and fulling tests conducted in our workshop to achieve the distinctive texture, volume, and softness that are so characteristic of Geelongora. Thanks to this work, we are now able to offer a lightweight, warm, durable, and exceptionally comfortable knit.
Made in our workshop in France from a yarn developed by the British spinning mill Z. Hinchliffe & Sons, the polo shirt combines 75% Super Geelong lambswool and 25% angora. This blend creates a slightly fluffy knit of remarkable softness that can be worn directly against the skin.
Knitted on an integral machine at gauge 8, the garment is seamless. The raglan sleeves ensure natural comfort at the shoulders, while the fully re-knitted polo collar requires particularly meticulous assembly, guaranteeing a clean and durable finish.
The polo shirt is finished with two corozo buttons, a natural material derived from the nut of a palm tree. Manufactured and dyed in France, in the Baie de Somme, by one of our long-standing partners, they reflect the same high standards applied to the garment’s construction.
The green Thicket color—a deep green with natural undertones—showcases the full richness of the Geelongora yarn and its light, fluffy texture. We measure each item by hand to help you choose the best fit. Measurements are in centimetres.
Our model Anis (short-haired, brown-haired) is 1.91 meters tall and wears a size XL for a casual look; Christ (shaved head) is 1.90 meters tall and wears a size XXL for a loose fit.
