Recyled wool

The Ohannes jumper combines culture, history and contemporary fashion. Inspired by the cable knits worn by Irish sailors of yesteryear, it has been revisited in a modern, loose-fitting style, giving it a unique look. We have chosen a thick, airy, carded yarn that is entirely recycled, sourced from a spinner in the south of France. It is composed of 70% recycled wool for warmth, 25% recycled polyamide for strength, and 5% other fibres that occur naturally in the recycling process.

It took us nearly a year to create this jumper. From the careful selection of the yarn to the knitting settings, the choice of knit and, above all, the finishing, each step was designed to achieve this unique softness and volume. Neither too fine nor too thick, knitted in one piece with no seams and three strands of yarn in each needle, it offers unrivalled purity and softness. Its fine, supple jersey knit and clean finishes make it an elegant and comfortable piece that can be worn all year round. Every detail has been designed to combine comfort, durability and timeless style.

The Ohannes jacket features the same knit and loose, contemporary style as the Ohannes round-neck jumper. Knitted from a yarn composed of 70% recycled wool for warmth, 25% recycled polyamide for strength, and 5% other fibres naturally present in the recycling process, it combines comfort and quality. Its discreet turn-down collar highlights the cable knit, and its YKK double-slider zip - excellent quality - allows it to be worn in different ways.

The Youri round-neck jumper is the first design in the Nitto collection. It is a ‘classic’ in terms of its shape and appearance, but its details reveal the expertise of four experts, each a master in their field: the careful selection of the yarn, the choice of knit, the technical adjustments to the knitting, the precise finishing and the fine yet sturdy seams that hold it together. You will notice its quality the first time you wear it, but it will continue to surprise you for years to come.

Born from a collaboration between Nitto Knitwear and the Flâneurs boutique in Rennes, this partnership pays tribute to a passion for well-made clothing. Knitted seamlessly on a full-circle machine, the jumper reveals a pure line and a naturally elegant drape. The Geelongora yarn, sourced from British spinner Z. Hinchliffe & Sons, combines 75% Geelong lambswool with 25% angora for exceptional softness. Lightweight, voluminous and fluffy, it embodies the perfect balance between technicality and comfort. A rare piece, available in limited quantities at Flâneurs and on our website.
