Description
The navy Ohannes crew-neck jumper is inspired by the cable-knit jumpers once worn by Irish sailors. Reimagined in a loose, contemporary fit, it retains the character of these iconic pieces whilst offering comfort suited to everyday wear.
Made in France, the Ohannes is knitted from a fully recycled yarn sourced from the Filature du Parc in Brassac, in the Tarn. This yarn is composed of 70% recycled wool, 25% recycled polyamide and 5% other fibres naturally present in the recycling process. This blend provides warmth, durability and volume.
The cable knits, worked on a size 3 needle, give the jumper its distinctive texture and character. To achieve this volume without making the garment heavy, we have chosen a carded yarn that is both thick and airy, giving the jumper a comfortable fit and a lovely fullness.
The navy colour highlights the texture of the cables and emphasises the design’s lines. A recycled wool jumper, made in France using Nitto Knitwear’s expertise, designed to see you through the seasons.
