Vasken Cardigan - Ecru
Description
The ecru Vasken cardigan stands out for its generous shawl collar, the design’s true signature feature. Thick, rounded and structured, it is knitted in one piece to maintain the continuity of the stitch and showcase the knitting work.
Made in France in our workshop, the Vasken is crafted from 100% extra-fine merino wool (19.5 microns). It is knitted in a pearl stitch, gauge 3, with six twisted strands on each needle. This construction results in a dense, supple and naturally soft fabric.
The multi-directional knitting is evident in the stitch pattern around the collar. This technique, combined with re-knitting, ensures a precise join without cutting the knit, whilst preserving the harmony of the knit.
The five buttons, made from corozo – a natural material derived from the nut of a palm tree – are manufactured and dyed in France, in the Baie de Somme. Selected for their durability and meticulous finish, they complement the cardigan with the same high standards as all its other components.
